Please send us an email at quotes@simplesignman.ca with the following information and we will get back to you with an accurate quotation and production time:

1) What is the shape of the magnets?

  • Block, disk, ring, sphere, cube

2) What are the magnet dimensions?

  • Width, Height, Length

3) What is the direction of the magnetism?

  • Block (magnetized thru its length)
  • Block (magnetized through its thickness)
  • Diametric disk (the width of the circular face)
  • Axial disc (magnetized thru its thickness)
  • Diametric ring (the poles are on the curved sides)
  • Axial ring (magnetized through its thickness).

4) Vertical pull or Slide resistance

  • Vertical pull: This is the weight the magnet can support vertically from the point of contact between the magnetic face and the attracted surface
  • Slide resistance: This is the weight the magnet can support horizontally from the point of contact between the magnetic face and the attracted surface before sliding from its position

5) Magnetic material

  • Neodymium - is the strongest magnet material available worldwide
  • Ferrite - is a cheaper magnet material which has a better resistance to higher temperatures and corrosion than neodymium
  • Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) - is great material to resist to both high temperature and corrosion. Its performance is higher than ferrite and Alnico magnet. It is the perfect material for high temperature applications
  • Alnico - It has the best resistance to both corrosion and high temperature. However, it is significantly weaker than Neodymium and Samarium magnets

6) Operating temperature

Operating temperature required in Celsius.

7) Magnet coating

Most of our neodymium magnets are Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) coated. If you require a specific coating please let us know.

8) Required quantity

If no quantities are asked we will send an offer based on minimum order quantity (MOQ).
